WDDT (We Don't Do Things)

Congratulation! You have been promoted to Region Vice something and stuff and WDDT LLC (We Don't Do Things) With you new title comes an amazing %.0000000002 raise! You've earned it! So now that the celebrating is over, lets talk about what you are going to do. [[Sit in your NEW Office]] [[Put out an add to hire an assistant]]

Your NEW office isn't really so much new as it's your same cubical! You are the luckest manager in the world because you get to work right along side the people that you evaluate and judge on a daily basis...go you! The plus is, you don't have to move anything! All of your stuff is already there. Ok, now that we have cleared that up... [[Put out an add to hire an assistant]]

After reviewing your large list of things to ignore you've noticed that you don't even have time to take a lunch. You decided that your new postion requires a little help. You place an add out hire an assistant AND you found someone perfect for the job. Everything is great, all of your calls are held, all your meetings have been cancelled and you aren't even getting the documents you need to not read. The only problem is that your supervisors has noticed the new person. They are a little worried that they picked the wrong person for this job because you did something. They remind you of where you work, (WDDT) and told you to fire them. You have a tough choice to make... You talk with your assistant and explain the situation and he completly understands. He doesn't give you two weeks notice, he don't clean out thier desk, he just leaves... He might have been the best employee this company has ever seen. Next to your self of course. Upon seeing your assistant leave, a supervisor asks to talk to you in your office. Seeing that you fired your assistant, your supervisor lets you know that you are also fired. It was a test to see if you would make another choice and you failed. You did one too many choices and that is again WDDT policy. She lets you know that it was a shame your a natural talent and would have gone far in the company. [[You're fired]]

You don't fire your assistant and you fear the worse. You are asked to come before all of your supervisors for a review of your actions. You are dreading this meeting, you now that you directly violated the orders of your bosses and they could demote you or worse... fire you. When you enter, the room is quite and several people stare at you. You await the worst. The president of something and stuff begins by saying, we couldn't help but noticed that you did something and we asked you to take care of it, you did nothing and for that you are being promoted. They were worried that you might start to have ideas or thoughts about how to improve the compnay, so they tested you. You quelled thier fears by doing nothing. You're new title is Region Vice person of something. [[You're a Manager!]]

You decide that the only thing you can do is listen to your supervisors and you prepare to fire your assistant. Before you reach her desk, a supervisors sees you and asks to talk to you in your office. They have noticed that you have gumption, a spring in your step and a positive attitude They fire you. They don't need that kind of thinking around the WDDT. [[You're fired]]

You no longer have a job, and you hear through a friend at WDDT, that they spoke with your assistant and gave them your old job. Well, now you have a lot of free time to do the things you never got to do at WDDT.... Things.
